ABOUT THE ROLE
• Serve drinks and food while providing friendly customer service
• Help create a welcoming and lively atmosphere for guests
• Work flexibly across busy periods and quieter shifts
• Develop hospitality skills in a fast-paced environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines and soft drinks
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
• Follow food safety standards
• Check identification and follow responsible alcohol service procedures
• Handle cash and card transactions using point-of-sale systems
• Manage customer tabs
• Restock bar supplies
• Engage positively with guests
• Follow health and safety requirements
REQUIREMENTS
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of hospitality best practices
• Basic maths skills for handling cash and calculating bills
• Good time management
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Friendly and energetic approach
• Strong communication skills
DESIRABLE
• Previous bartending or restaurant/bar serving experience
• Knowledge of food safety standards
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service
