AVAILABILITY WINDOW

• Wednesday: 05:30 – 14:30
• Thursday: 05:30 – 14:30
• Friday: 14:00 – 23:00
• Saturday: 14:00 – 23:00
• Minimum 16 guaranteed hours per week (flexibility available down to 12 hours)
• 3 weeks’ notice of shift schedule

OVERVIEW

• Leadership role within Tesco Express store
• Oversee store operations during duty shifts
• Support team performance and customer experience
• Must be aged 18 or over

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate the store team to deliver excellent customer service
• Open and close the store safely
• Support colleagues and manage breaks
• Act as duty manager in absence of Store Manager
• Maintain store cleanliness and presentation
• Monitor store performance and implement improvements
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
• Support seasonal, community and charity initiatives

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong customer service skills
• Experience leading or supervising a team
• Confident communicator
• Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Flexible and adaptable approach
• Motivational leadership style
