ABOUT THE ROLE
Varo Lounge is hiring Chefs to join the kitchen team at its brand-new site in Sunderland.

The role involves preparing the all-day menu, working alongside the Head Chef and kitchen team, ensuring dishes meet required standards and helping the kitchen run smoothly from preparation through to service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cook fresh food to specification, including tapas dishes and all-day Lounge breakfasts.
• Support the Head Chef with preparation, service and standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe and fully prepared.
• Follow food safety and allergen processes at all times.
• Work with the front of house team to deliver a great customer experience.

REQUIREMENTS

• Passion for real cooking and quality food.
• Reliable approach with good attendance and punctuality.
• Energy, pace and a positive attitude.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Experience as a Grill Chef, Line Chef or Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen.
