Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Or Part-Time
Shifts: Day And Night Shifts, Including Weekend Availability. Applicants Must Be Flexible To Work Various Shifts, Including Every Second Weekend.
About The Role:
The Beeches is a 31-bed care home providing nursing, residential and dementia care. Your Care First Ltd is looking for caring and friendly Care Assistants to help residents feel safe, comfortable and valued.
You will support residents with their daily routines, personal care and wellbeing, while promoting independence and treating everyone with kindness and respect.
Previous care experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, eating and mobility.
- Follow individual care plans and support residents’ needs and preferences.
- Communicate with residents, families and colleagues.
- Escort residents to appointments when required.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, following health and safety and infection control procedures.
- Record care activities accurately using the PCS system and keep records up to date.
Requirements:
- A caring attitude and a genuine desire to support others.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic IT skills for electronic records and documentation.
- Previous care home experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Flexibility to work day or night shifts and alternate weekends.
- Must already have the right to work in the UK.
Training And Support:
Training will be provided, and successful applicants will join a close-knit team with supportive managers.
