Leanne Hodgson pleads guilty to violent disorder
Leanne Hodgson, 43, of Holborn Road, Hylton Lane estate, has pleaded guilty to violent disorder.
Footage of Leanne went viral on social media around the world after she was “caught on footage pushing a large bin towards a line of police.”
This led to widespread ridicule of her removals business in Sunderland.
Police subsequently arrested her at her home following day and broadcasted the recording to the mainstream media.
Her removal’s van was subsequently vandalised with “RATS.”
John Garside, prosecuting, said: “There was a large crowd cheering and joining in. She was arrested at her home address.”
She has also been remanded in custody until September 2nd.
