Man Dies After Motorbike Crash
A 30-year-old man has died following a motorbike crash in a residential area of Middlesbrough.
The rider was travelling along Marshall Avenue on an off-road Husqvarna TE 20 bike when he collided with a parked car at around 8:30pm on Sunday. Emergency services attended the scene and the man was taken to James Cook University Hospital with serious injuries. He was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Cleveland Police have launched an appeal for information and are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has video footage to come forward. A police cordon was set up at the scene and part of Marshall Avenue was temporarily closed while investigations took place.
The road is a designated 20mph zone lined with semi-detached houses and parked cars.
