Man has moped stolen while he’s shopping in Lidl

A man went shopping at Lidl on the Durham Road yesterday, parking his moped in the Car Park only to find when he came back, it had been stolen.

Steve Leithes went to the store on Thursday afternoon about 1pm, and had turned his back to go to the store for a mere few minutes when the theft occurred.

As soon in the photos, the moped is black with a registration of NK23 EHR. Police have been contacted, and anyone who may see or find this vehicle is asked to get in touch with them or the family.
