Photos of a sandwich costing £28 at a famous London store have gone viral on TikTok
The sandwich, sold at Harrods, is a Japanese themed Wagyu Katsu Sando “with porcini, truffle butter, and mustard mayo.” It is only four by four inches large.
People reacted with disbelief on seeing it. The primary reason for its inflated price is because Wagyu is an extremely expensive variety of Japanese beef that often comes in small portions.
Despite that, it hardly justifies forking that out on a sandwich, the product is for all intents and purposes an absurdity and for some, even a display of vanity.
