The following North East Wilkinson’s Stores are set to close this week

The following Wilkinson’s Stores in the North East will close this week following the collapse of a takeover bid to save the troubled retail chain.

• Byker (tomorrow)
• Jarrow (tomorrow)
• Seaham (tomorrow)
• Cramlington (September 21st)
• Gateshead (September 21st)
• Newton Aycliffe (September 21st)
• Peterlee (September 21st)

No date has been confirmed yet for the closure of the Sunderland branch, but as with all Wilkinson’s stores it will ultimately close by October.
