WHAT’S ON: Sunderland Festival of Light, Mowbray Park
Sunderland’s festival of light is back, and tickets are on sale now. Except this time, it is going to be based in Mowbray Park.
Sparkling new lighting installations and a stunning light projection are set to brighten the dark nights in Sunderland city centre this autumn.
The Festival of Light is relocating to Mowbray Park this year, and tickets will still cost just £3 per person. Group discounts apply, and children under 2 go free.
The festival will take place from 4pm – 9pm every Thursday to Sunday between Thursday 12 October and Saturday 11 November and every day during half term week, 23 – 27 October. A ‘quiet hour’ between 4pm-5pm is also available to book on selected dates.
