Woman harassed in indecent exposure incident in Mowbray Park

A Sunderland woman has stated she was harassed with an “indecent exposure” incident by a student in Mowbray Park on sunday

The victim, speaking on condition of anonymity, says she was sitting in the park before she was approached by a boy she described as being in a St. Aidan’s uniform, who indecently exposed himself to her from “the trees.”

A passing gentleman, witnessing the incident, intervened, leading the boy to claim it was being done by accident. The incident was later reported to Northumbria Police.

The woman later expressed her concern for the wellbeing of other women and children in the park.
