Greggs is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Shift Manager to join its team in Sunderland. The successful candidate will help manage the shop when the Shop Manager is unavailable, motivate colleagues and ensure customers receive excellent service.

The role involves supporting daily shop operations across in-store sales, deliveries, Click + Collect and other customer ordering channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain high shop standards and lead by example.
• Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Prepare Greggs products, including sandwiches, and manage oven operations.
• Keep displays fully stocked and ensure customers have plenty of choice.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming shop environment.
• Support colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

• Reliability and strong leadership qualities.
• A passion for customer service.
• Previous team supervisory experience in a similar customer-focused environment.
• A supportive approach to teamwork and an inclusive workplace culture.
