Memory Lane Care Homes is seeking a reliable and dedicated Domestic to help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at its Sunderland location.
The successful candidate will help keep designated areas clean, safe and welcoming, ensuring cleaning duties are completed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean designated areas by dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising surfaces.
- Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely and store them correctly.
- Report maintenance issues and potential safety hazards.
- Follow cleaning schedules and established procedures.
- Assist with deep cleans and other special cleaning tasks when required.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude when working with colleagues and others.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not essential.
- English language skills are preferred.
