About The Role
Andron Facilities Management is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene at a small office in South Shields.
This role is ideal for someone seeking part-time work, with flexible options for early morning or evening cleaning. Previous commercial cleaning experience is an advantage, but training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean designated areas, including offices, washrooms and communal spaces.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to maintain hygienic, presentable surroundings.
- Keep cleaning supplies and equipment organised.
- Follow health and safety procedures.
- Report maintenance issues or damage to the supervisor.
- Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, hand soap and paper towels.
- Complete scheduled cleaning tasks within the allocated time.
Requirements
- Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Physical stamina to carry out cleaning duties.
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
- Availability for one hour per weekday, either early morning or after 5:00pm.
