ABOUT THE ROLE
• Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards
• Maintain high standards of food safety and quality
• Organise and maintain the kitchen area
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at all times
• Support meal preparation during busy service periods
• Ensure food is attractively presented and served promptly
• Assist with inventory management, stock rotation and ordering supplies
• Maintain kitchen equipment and report faults or issues promptly

REQUIREMENTS
• Experience in food preparation, cooking or kitchen roles desirable
• Familiarity with food safety standards and practices
• Restaurant or serving experience advantageous but not essential
• Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills preferred
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
• Strong organisational skills
• Good attention to detail, particularly with food presentation and hygiene
