About The Role
Lees Premier Cleaning is looking for a reliable and hardworking part-time Cleaner for an office cleaning contract in the Follingsby Park area of Gateshead.
The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming working environment, ensuring that offices and communal areas meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but attention to detail, good time management and the ability to work independently are important.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean commercial areas, including floors, windows, restrooms and communal spaces.
- Clean surfaces, fixtures and equipment to maintain hygienic conditions.
- Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap and toilet paper.
- Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks efficiently.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and follow health and safety procedures.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment when required.
- Report maintenance issues and potential safety hazards to management.
Requirements
- Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good time management skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safe chemical handling.
