JOB NEWS: Nissan has posted again that it is seeking to hire full-time manufacturing staff
The full-time role is offered on a temporary contract with a starting salary of £27,394, rising to £28,394 within 12 months, plus shift allowance, paid overtime, 26 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, and access to private medical insurance from day one.
The job involves supporting production across the plant, following detailed processes, rotating roles, maintaining high safety standards, and contributing to the manufacturing of Nissan’s vehicles. Full training is provided, including off-the-job training.
Applicants must be 18 or over, eligible to work in the UK, able to read and understand processes, safety-conscious, reliable, flexible and confident raising concerns. Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not essential. All applicants will need to attend assessment sessions at the Sunderland plant and must pass pre-employment drugs and alcohol testing.
