Salutem Care & Education is looking for a reliable and hardworking Domestic Assistant to join its team in South Shields. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment for young people, staff and visitors.
This role is important in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the service and ensuring the premises remain welcoming and well maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out cleaning and domestic duties throughout the setting.
- Clean and maintain furniture, equipment and surrounding areas.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of the domestic team.
- Help ensure all areas and equipment remain clean, safe and hygienic.
- Undertake additional reasonable duties assigned by the Premises Co-ordinator or Principal.
