About The Role

Tailor Made Housekeeping is expanding its team and recruiting domestic housekeepers for regular work in clients’ homes across the North Shields area.

Housekeepers will generally work independently, travelling between clients’ homes and providing a high standard of cleaning within allocated timeframes. Each housekeeper will have their own group of clients, with visits rotating on a weekly or fortnightly basis.

The work is permanent, with flexible hours designed to accommodate individual circumstances.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean clients’ homes to a high standard.
• Complete cleaning tasks within allocated timeframes.
• Pay close attention to detail.
• Travel between clients’ homes with the necessary cleaning products and equipment.
• Manage a regular group of clients with weekly or fortnightly visits.
• Work independently while maintaining a friendly and professional approach.

Requirements

• A car is essential, as cleaning products and equipment must be transported to each job.
• A friendly personality and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Applicants should be able to commute reliably to North Shields or plan to relocate before starting.
