ABOUT THE ROLE

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care with residents at the heart of everything you do.
• Support residents with day-to-day personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, drinking and mobility.
• Promote dignity, independence and choice.
• Build trusting relationships and encourage social interaction.
• Help create a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment where residents feel safe and valued.
• Follow care plans accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Raise concerns when something does not feel right.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to clear communication within the team.
• Contribute to the development and review of individual care plans.
• Recognise changes in residents’ needs and help maintain high standards of care.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous care experience is not required.
• Genuine desire to care for others and make a positive difference.
• Compassion, patience and respect.
• Ability to work as part of a supportive team and community.
• Integrity and responsibility when delivering safe, high-quality care.
• Pride in your work and commitment to excellence.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Two satisfactory employment references.
• Enhanced DBS check required, paid for by Abbeyfield.
