Salary: Up To £27,500 Per Year, Plus Monthly Gratuity Allocation

Contract: Full-Time, Four-Day Working Week

About The Role:

The Highlander Ponteland is looking for a passionate, dedicated and hardworking Bar & Restaurant Supervisor to join its leadership team at its fresh-produce venue in Northumberland.

The successful candidate will help oversee daily service, support the team and ensure customers receive a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the team during day-to-day service.
• Open and close the venue.
• Help organise shifts and ensure priorities are covered.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness and presentation.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues calmly and professionally.
• Support the training and development of new team members.
• Follow food safety, health and safety, and fire safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Supervisory or team leader experience in a similar role.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
• One year of team-leading experience is preferred.
• One year of hospitality experience is preferred.
• A driving licence is preferred.
• Reliable transport is essential due to the location.

Working Pattern:

The role follows a four-day working week. Applicants must be available to work Wednesday to Sunday, including bank holidays. Working days and hours may vary over the festive period. The venue is closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
