Meet the sister of the Newcastle Stack, The Seaburn STACK. It opened on the 12th of April 2021, and it can be found on Whitburn Road on the seafront. Their opening hours are 11am till 11pm from Sunday to Thursday and then 11am to 1am on Friday and Saturday. This venue is full of bars, street food and they hold various events that attract people from all around Sunderland. They are even dog friendly up until 9pm everyday for those who are wanting pop in with their furry friends.

The Seaburn STACK includes a number of bars, including Barley & Me, Heineken, Hop House 13, The Gin Cabinet and YOLO which is a cocktail and wine bar. It is perfect for those who are looking for a social evening out with friends or family, with their wide selection of bars it is suitable for anyone who has specific taste going from beer to wine to cocktails.


However, for those who want a spot of lunch and somewhere nice to eat they offer a wide range of street food places that are suitable for everyone. For those who stay traditional by the beach there is a fish and chip place that they offer which can also be found in Roker who have built up a great reputation for serving the best locally produced Fish and Chips in the area.

However, if people are looking for a healthier option So Smooth Co and Healthy Thaim is the place for you. They even suit to vegan, vegetarian and gluten free dietary requirements. However, just when the Stack Seaburn couldn’t get more varied they have places within the building that suits to people’s lifestyle. They offer a place to do your brows and hair with Arch and Liangs Barber shop. They have a gaming cabin for those who want to game outside of their bedroom or try out the equipment they have. Keep an eye out for their weekly and monthly tournaments and for those who are looking for a small bite to eat they have a cake and pastries shop called A Little Cakery by the Sea and YOLO’s Coffee and Kitchen.
