Hendon Sex Offender Abused and Then Threatened to Murder Underage Victim

A Hendon man has been jailed for two years for sexual activity with an underage girl, and then threatening to murder his victim.
Jordan Rutherford, aged 20, of Lewis Crescent Hendon had made a number of violent threats to his victim two days after she reported him, which had led to him being arrested and placed on bail. Telling her that he had “bladed articles” and that “I can’t wait to se the look on your face when I smash you down”
After he sent the message, a forensic analysis of his devices found that he had made sinister internet searches for “most vulnerable part of the human skull”, “how much force needed to break neck”.
Rutherford was then sentenced for three charges of sexual activity with a child, one of making a threat to kill and possessing three bladed articles.
He must sign the sex offenders register and abide by a sexual harm prevention order and restraining order for ten years.
