Isaac Lihadji- All You Need to Know

The Black Cats make their second signing of the January transfer window as another former Golden Boy nominee joins their ranks.

20-year-old Isaac Lihadji has joined from French side, Lille, for an undisclosed fee.

The promising right-winger started his career at Marseille and after impressing, he made a move to Lille.

At just 13-years-old, Lihadji had been impressing and Barcelona looked set to sign him, but he fractured his shin and the deal faded away.

However, after his move to Lille, he made 15 league appearances, in his first season, as he helped the side beat PSG to the Ligue 1 title in the 2020-21 season.

During his time at Lille, he made 39 appearances, scoring once and assisting 5 goals.

He has even made 3 appearances in the Champions League and 4 in the Europa League.

He is known for being a very skillful player, and looks as though he could set the Championship alight this season.
