About The Role:

Currys is looking for an Account Executive to join its Business Sales team in Gateshead. The role focuses on helping business customers find the right technology for their needs, building strong relationships with local companies and delivering excellent customer service.

You will identify sales opportunities, develop business accounts and contribute to the store’s overall sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver memorable customer experiences during every interaction.
• Understand business customers’ needs and recommend suitable technology products.
• Build and maintain relationships with local business owners.
• Develop new business relationships and grow existing accounts.
• Contribute to store sales targets and overall business performance.
• Monitor local competitor activity and suggest ways to remain competitive.

Candidate Requirements:

• Customer service experience in retail, business-to-business sales or a similar environment.
• Motivation to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
• Interest in learning about the latest technology.
• Confidence working as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to identifying business opportunities.
