About The Role
Maria Mallaband Care Group is looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to support residents at its care home in South Shields.
The role involves providing personalised care, promoting residents’ independence and dignity, and helping create a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care, including washing, dressing and hygiene.
- Support residents with meals and everyday activities.
- Encourage independence and respect each resident’s dignity.
- Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
- Contribute to personalised care plans and respect individual needs and preferences.
- Help maintain a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment.
