The Black Cats’ face Blackpool on Tuesday night for their second home match in 3 days.
Sunderland will be hoping that they can cause The Seasiders’ more problems than they did Preston on Saturday.
The game ended 0-0 on Sarurday despite the Sunderland players putting in a spirited performance.
Blackpool are struggling at the moment as they sit just one point above the relegation zone, off the back of three straight defeats.
Sunderland, on the other hand are sitting comfortably in 8th place, just two points from Burnley in 4th.
The last time the two sides met, Blackpool came out on top 1-0, thanks to a fantastic volley from Sulley KaiKai.
Tony Mowbray will have a similar set of players for Tuesday as he did on Saturday against Preston.
Current Sunderland player, Elliot Embleton will be a player many Blackpool fans respect after a very successful loan spell with The Seasiders’, where he helped secure promotion.
Dennis Cirkin will be in contention after his injury though, but he is expected to start on the bench after some impressive performances by Aji Alese.
James Husband and Rhys Williams will miss the match for Blackpool.
